The design development of your fitout is created with your needs and preferences in mind. It’s Innovas duty to provide a fitout which meets the expectations of our clients and complies with our own high standards of quality.
During the project definition stage, Innova aims to understand the objectives and vision of the client. This allows us to develop a project brief which informs the fitout process with the design ideas of the client.
The Design and documentation stage involves spatial planning, where our interior designers and project coordinators create their initial designs for each possible site location. They make sure that each design choice reflects the vision of the customer.
Permits, approvals, specifications and documentation can be created, collated and delivered by the Innova team in consultation with the client.
A design brief is developed to inform the fitout process. This gives the Innova team a guideline, allowing them to create your new office, medical centre or retail store with the client’s vision at the forefront of each design choice.
A project brief will consist of:
- The initial fitout designs for the medical, retail, or office fitout
- Preliminary budget based on initial test fit plan The costings budget and estimated preliminary costing
- Floorplans, sketches and initial design layouts
- Documents and certificate including construction permit plans
- Interior design proposal
- Construction design proposal
Innova’s Approach To Design
Activity Based Design
Innova uses this method to tailor a design to the exact operations of the client. Providing them with the specific design features required for a particular profession or service.
Evidence Based Design
Through thorough research and gathering evidence, Innova can propose designs which are likely to achieve the best results. This approach is helpful for medical fitouts as researching, observing and reviewing the needs of patients and practitioners provides a more holistic fitout design.
Patient Centred Design
This approach is used for medical fitouts to ensure that patients have a pleasant, stress-free visit to a practitioner. Design choices define the atmosphere of your space, affecting the emotions of patients and allowing practitioners to treat patients more effectively.
We believe that the best design concepts are functional, timeless, and highly efficient and reflect the character and brief of our clients.
